WE ISOLATE THE MAIN MOTIF OF YOUR IMAGE FROM THE BACKGROUND AND OUR EXPERIENCED 3D GRAPHIC ARTISTS CREATE A 180 DEGREE 3D MODEL FROM THE MOTIF.
This means that everything that is visible on the subject gets a third dimension, i.e. depth. Parts of the subject/motif that are not visible, such as its backside or parts hidden behind something else in your image, are not included. The 3D model will be empty in these places. However, such 'holes' are perceived as shadows when the model is engraved inside the crystal.
If one looks at the 3D model from behind, the motif looks like the inside of a carnival mask, i.e. concave and mirrored.
THEN WE ENGRAVE THE 3D MODEL (IN GRAY SCALE) INSIDE YOUR CRYSTAL USING ADVANCED LASER TECHNOLOGY. THE SURFACE OF THE CRYSTAL GLASS REMAINS UNTOUCHED.

It does not matter. The three-dimensional engraving will be “frosted”, without colors.

We always focus on faces/breasts and crop images so that faces are well visible given the chosen crystal shape. If you do not want us to crop your image please write this in the comment box on the product page.

It will not be included. We will separate the subject from the background. In some cases, if the background is very important, we can engrave it as a flat engraving behind the subject but then this must be discussed with us in advance to assess whether this is technically possible for each particular image and whether it will cost extra.

For the right effect, the crystals should be placed against a DARK, preferably black background (e.g. a piece of black cardboard), SOME distance away from the background, in a WELL-LIGHTED place. We also offer customized lighting ramps as accessories. They make the subject even more visible and your crystal can be placed against brighter backgrounds. Please see HERE.

1. If you want to order several pieces of the product with the SAME motif, you will get a discount of SEK 200 on all EXTRA SAMPLES. In other words, you pay the regular price for the first copy and SEK 200 less per piece for the rest. Order as usual and contact us after your order and we will manually discount your price. 2.
